Information you give to us
The accreditation process begins with the registration. For the registration, we need the following information:

Password

Your Name

Phone

Fax and Address

Company Information, i.e. Company Name, Head office, Region, Country, Phone, Fax and Address

Billing Information, i.e. VAT

Website

Scopes and Schemes you wish to apply for.

Use of Data during the Accreditation Process
The information will be stored during the application process in a protected, publicly inaccessible database and will be used to facilitate the application and validation process. Once you have filled in the necessary data on the registration page, you may download, complete, print out and send in via registered mail the completed and signed Application Form and Privacy Statement. If you do not send in the Application Form and Privacy Statement within a three (3) months period, we will automatically delete your data.

When we receive a complete Application Form and Privacy Statement, we will begin the validation proceedings which lead to your provisional approval by EUREPGAP. If your application can not be approved, we will delete your data.

Use of Data after Approval
In case you are approved as CB we will grant you access to a CB only Extranet where the data given to us is stored. We will use the information about you and your company only for such purposes as follows of your status as CB. In particular, the information about you and your company as well as your company logo will appear on the EUREPGAP website in the section of approved Certification Bodies for the relevant product scope. Furthermore, we will circulate the information to any third party - irrespective of the place of their domicile or office being it in Germany, in other EU countries or in countries outside the EU - interested in information about the EUREPGAP certification process.

Access to the Data
You can access and modify any data about you and your company at any time. You are responsible to update any changes within your Company in the CB Extranet, which will automatically displayed on the EUREPGAP website. Upon request we will inform you in writing about the data we have stored or delete any personal data about you and your company. If your status as CB ends we will delete your data in the CB Extranet and on the EUREPGAP website.

Agents
Sometimes we employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending e-mails or postal mail, administering data and providing other services. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. These agents and their adherence to this Privacy Statement are controlled and monitored by us.
